This unit features a ribbed design that reinforces the structure while helping with aeration and making the whole unit more attractive and has two hatch doors. Aeration holes are located around the outside and help to speed up aeration but are too small for rodents and other animals to get through. How it works: keep adding material as you wish or until the bin is full. Then let gravity do most of the work. You’ll still need to aerate it at intervals (a few times a week depending on your location and conditions) and monitor temperatures to ensure a quick turn over.
