Thanks to a grant from the SVSU Foundation and support from WIRED, students at SVSU are learning more about the environment through the unique process of worm composting. In 2008 and 2009, students participated in a variety of activities including studying the efficiency of worm composting, helping institute a worm composting process in collaboration with SVSU Dining Services, and participating in the Can-o-Worms challenge where teams of students “adopted” a pound of worms for two months. To hear more about what students learned, watch this video.
